South Pacific & Talamanca Mountain Range

The region on Costa Rica’s southern pacific coast is one of the country’s most beautiful natural spectacles. Here, one can savor seclusion and quiet from the rest of civilization. The region is located about six hours by car from San José – however, many visitors rely on the much faster and easier air travel. The plane-trip takes around one hour and is relatively cheap. In the Talamanca mountains, many insider tips away from the usual tourist attractions can be found. It is advisable to save a visit to the southern pacific region as a highlight for the end of a round-trip.
